Dr. Dean Spitzer is widely acknowledged as one of the world’s leading authorities on performance measurement, performance management, and organizational motivation systems.  Dr. Spitzer was for many years a senior researcher and performance measurement thought-leader at IBM Corporation and held leadership positions with several other Fortune 100 companies.  He is also a consultant to Andrew Wommack Ministries and a visiting lecturer at Charis Bible College.Dr. Spitzer earned his Ph.D. degree from the University of Southern California and his M.A. from Northwestern University and pursued both undergraduate and graduate studies at the London School of Economics.

Dr. Spitzer’s advice and counsel is sought by companies and government agencies throughout the world. During his distinguished career as a consultant, he has helped more than 100 organizations on five continents improve their performance. Dr. Spitzer was for many years a senior researcher and performance measurement thought-leader at IBM Corporation and held leadership positions with several other Fortune 100 companies. He also served as a professor at 5 universities and as an executive with a U.S. government agency. While at Boise State University, Dr. Spitzer established the world’s first online Masters Degree program, a pioneering effort that paved the way for the subsequent growth of online education; he built this pioneering effort into a highly successful program that is still thriving today. Dr. Spitzer also developed many innovative approaches to learning and developed a breakthrough methodology for linking training with organizational performance.

Dr. Spitzer was also a past Vice President of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI). He has also received many awards for his work, including receiving the Outstanding Communications Award and Outstanding Human Performance Intervention awards from ISPI.

In addition to authoring 8 books and over 200 articles and book chapters, Dr. Spitzer has been a keynote speaker and featured presenter at more than 100 conferences throughout the world. He is also a consultant to Andrew Wommack Ministries and a visiting lecturer at Charis Bible College. Dean is currently writing a book on the Kingdom of God.
